Top questions
These are the questions people ask most before booking whale and dolphin watching in Tenerife. For anything else, message us on WhatsApp — quick reply.
What’s the difference between the 1-hour and 2-hour tour? +
1 hour is the focused, high-impact option: quick access to the most likely wildlife areas, calm observation, and a premium small-group feel when you’re short on time.
2 hours gives more range and flexibility: more time for longer encounters and a greater chance to explore wider areas depending on sea conditions.
Where is the meeting point? +
Puerto Colón, Costa Adeje — Pontoon 4. Please arrive a bit early for a smooth check-in. You’ll find the exact navigation link on our tour pages.
Is there a sightings guarantee? +
Yes — sightings guarantee. If conditions prevent sightings, we’ll help with the best available solution for your reservation.
What should I bring? +
Comfortable clothing, sun protection (sunscreen + sunglasses), and a light jacket (it can be cooler at sea). If you’re sensitive to motion, see the seasickness tips below.
Booking
How booking works, what to expect, and how to choose the right tour.
How do I book? +

Are prices per person? +
Yes — prices are per person. On the 1-hour page you’ll see separate adult and child tickets (when applicable).
Can I book last minute? +
Often yes, if there’s availability. Small group capacity fills up quickly — booking ahead is recommended.
What if I’m not sure which tour to choose? +
Choose 1 hour if you want the focused experience and you’re short on time. Choose 2 hours if you want more range and a higher chance for longer encounters.

What happens on the water, how we approach wildlife, and what you’ll learn.
What will we see on the tour? +
Wildlife varies by day and conditions. Tenerife waters can offer different dolphin species and whales, plus marine birds and sometimes turtles. Your Marine Biologist guide helps you recognize species and behavior.
Is whale watching ethical? +
Yes — when it’s done responsibly. We prioritize calm navigation, safe distance, and wildlife-first decisions. The goal is a great experience without disrupting the animals’ behavior.
Will it be crowded? +
No — we focus on a small group experience. With fewer guests, everyone gets space and clear views.
Are photos included? +
Yes — we share trip photos after the tour so you can stay present while we capture the moment.
